PiperTech introduces a breakthrough in fire safety:
30 minute fire-resistant UPVC windows and doors
Fires can pose significant risks to life, health and a building's structural integrity if they are not extinguished early. Containing a fire at its source is one of the best ways to prevent a fire from escalating and reduce the risks of fire damage. Fire-resistant doors have been available for some time, but if an external window gives way, an unrestricted supply of oxygen acts as fuel for the fire, making it much more difficult to control. Traditional UPVC windows (even those fitted with fire-resistant glass) have not been able to withstand fires for long - until now.
PiperTech is proud to introduce fire-resistant UPVC windows (patent pending) that are certified to resist a fire for a full 30 minutes. This breakthrough technology represents a major leap forward in fire safety, providing fire-resistant capability to both outside windows and internal glass walls and partitions.
